what are some of your long term goals as a vtuber?
ty for the ask! I don’t actually have really high goals I don’t think—VTubing is a hobby for me and what’s most important to me is I’m having fun, having a community, and making friends and i’ve done all of those! So I apologize if my answer is a bit boring.
1. Get all socials to 1k followers! I just think it would be neat. I’ve never had 1k follows in all my years on the internet.
2. I’m an affiliate with Rogue Energy and I like the company so much I’d love to get to Partner! So maybe get my growth to where I could do that? who knows. (ps use my code MEPHI666 for 10% off your order!)
3. Make more fun different types of merch!! I’m also a collaborator with Donut Moth and have made a number of different merch items through them available for sale. It’s been a dream come true, and I hope maybe as I grow i can branch into different products :)
MAYBE maybe 4. would be…..briefly reach the sub goal needed to unlock TONS of emotes permanently? That would be cool.
EDIT: wait i forgot one! This hinges on me entirely but I want to redo my UTAU voicebank from a CV to VCV so i can do more complex vocal covers of songs! I just need to record aaaall the samples….and get someone to oto them for me cause I’m never doing that shit again lol

This is tough! Honestly I love something about just about every member. And i’m not really the kind of person to say that sort of thing just to be nice. Maintaining our tumblr, our twitter, keeping the website up to date, and moderating our private discord i see A LOT of everyone in the team and i can safely say everyone’s got SOMETHING and like every cringie corner episode Andou hosts i end the night (or afternoon in some cases) going “wow i love rawr i feel so inspired. vtubers are good actually”

Mephistos design was me going “how can i be THE MOST self indulgent with this character i’d like to represent myself with? If I could choose exactly how i’d want to look in an anime what would that look like?” aka “what features do i think are the hottest/coolest”
More specifically some influences would be Mettaton (Undertale), Midnight’s Bloodline of Combat Skin (Arknights) and Grell (Black Butler)
As for the bonus—not MUCH overall has changed since I made him in 2021. The biggest changes though would be i used to draw him WAAAAY more masculine and less androgynous but eventually i said to myself “who is this for?! it’s for me!!! Make him more androgynous!!! HE CAN HAVE BIG MAN TITTES TOO!!” I also changed how i’d draw his horns A LOT before I finally settled on something I liked more despite them being hard to draw. Small details about his outfit have changed and I’ve obviously gotten much better at art and solidifying how i wanted him to look!
